A Review of Anastasia Beverly Hills MicroStroke Brow Pen

The MicroStroke Brow Pen is Anastasia Beverly Hills’ most recent brow product drop, and I might love it more than the Brow Definer. As a former liquid eyeliner over-user (hey, I was a teen in the early 2000s emo era!) I find the teeny tiny tipped brush and inky formula much easier to create a precise stroke in the areas that look a little sparse. And I love that the pen has a built-in spoolie brush (just like the Brow Definer) so that you can blend everything once applied.

This eyebrow pen is also buildable, so if you’re going with a no-makeup makeup look like me, you can get away with single strokes. But if you want something more defined, you can build upon your strokes to darken things up more. It’s also available in nine different shades which, compared to typical brow gels, is a lot and makes it so much easier to shade match with your skin tone and hair color.

Shades: 9
Type: Eyebrow pen
Benefits: Creates individual hair-like strokes; Fills in sparse areas; Gives you a light microblading effect

Pros:
Comes with a built-in spoolie brush
Easy to use, even for beginners
More control compared to brow gels and other pens

Cons:
It could come out too dark if you’re heavy-handed
Takes more effort compared to brow gels
