The Mother’s Day forecast is shaping up nicely, it won’t be a perfect weather day, but it good enough for brunch or lunch with mom to celebrate. The day will start with sunshine, with clouds moving in eventually. Highs will reach the 80s. By 2 p.m. a few shower or thunderstorm opportunities will pop-up west of I-95. These should push east fairly quickly, with no risk for severe weather.
Scattered showers will stick around for the Monday morning commute, so plan ahead now to give yourself some extra time Monday morning. Skies will gradually clear throughout the afternoon. Next week will be on the cooler side, especially for mid-May standards. High temperatures will stay in the upper 60s for the first half of the week with more seasonable weather by the end of the week.
