WASHINGTON — Three Things to Know:
Forecast:
Thursday: Mostly sunny and warm. Breezy at times. Highs: 78 – 83. Winds: NNW 5 – 15.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear and cooler. Lows: 50s. Winds: N 5 – 10.
Friday: Mostly sunny and warm. Highs: 78 – 83. Winds: WNW 5 – 10.
Skies finally clear Thursday morning after a few overnight spotty showers, with a nice return to sunshine and temperatures in the low 80s and upper 70s. The end of the week and weekend is looking very nice with warmer temperatures through Friday before we see a little dip into the weekend with highs in the low 70s. With mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, it will still be a nice weekend for outdoor plans.
Early next week continues to trend a little below average as we kick off June. Temperatures won’t stay below average for long with temperatures back in the mid to upper 80s by the end of next week.
We certainly could use more rain amid the ongoing drought, but the extended forecast shows nothing but dry skies and sunshine.
