Weather Conversation:
Sunday’s shaping up to be a winner with just a few clouds and temps reaching the mid to upper 80s. Sunglasses and sunscreen are definitely a good idea if you’re heading outside. Monday keeps the summer vibe going, with lots of sunshine and highs in the 80s as folks head back to work and school; expect only a few passing clouds.
Looking ahead, clouds return by midweek and there’s a slight chance for drizzle or a spotty shower Tuesday and Wednesday. It won’t be more than a sprinkle with just enough to spot up the windshield, not nearly enough to help with the dry, drought conditions around the DMV. Temperatures are trending cooler both days with highs in the 70s. Winds are a tad breezy on Tuesday.
It’s almost fall! Fall officially starts on Monday September 22, 2025 at 2:19 p.m. The extended forecast shows highs falling to the 70s as fall begins.
