WASHINGTON — Three Things to Know:
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, breezy but nice. High: 49 – 54. Winds: SSW 10 – 15.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy. Not as cold. Lows: 32 – 40. Winds: SW 10.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and mild with p.m. showers. Some snow showers overnight. Highs: 47 – 52. Winds: SW 10 – 15.
After a cold morning Tuesday with temperatures in the 20s and 30s, the afternoon will shape up to be quite gorgeous with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the low 50s.
Wednesday will be mild again, though not as bright, with rain showers developing in the afternoon. Most of the day will be dry, just mainly cloudy, before scattered rain showers move in after 3 p.m. Later at night as cold air rushes in, there will be a brief flip to snow showers (mainly 10 p.m. – 3 a.m.). Given the warmth over the next couple of days, road temperatures will be above freezing and roads will just be wet. There may be a light dusting on grassy surfaces, your car, etc. but overall this will be a low impact round of wet and wintry weather.
