Weather Conversation:
Not a drop of rain in sight this week for the vast majority of the DMV. Most days will be packed with plenty of sunshine and highs mainly in the 70s. High pressure will dominate the forecast. Right now Thursday and Friday look like the warmest day of the week with highs back in the 80 to 85 range.
For the middle of the week, we will be tracking some extra clouds and even a couple of showers on Wednesday. This will especially be well east of I-95 as a storm system pushes north off the East Coast.
The extended forecast shows a return to sunshine and highs near 80 after crisp starts Friday all the way into this weekend.
We’re also tracking Hurricane Kiko in the Central Pacific, currently located about 500 miles from Hawaii. It’s forecast to pass just north of the islands as a tropical storm early this week.
