Weather Impact Alert: Tracking rain and showers Friday that may slow down your morning & evening commute

WASHINGTON — The WUSA9 Weather Impact Team is tracking several rounds of rain and showers on Friday. The heaviest rain (and even a few thunderstorms) will rumble through very early Friday (4 a.m. – 9 a.m. ) before tapering to light, occasional showers through midday. Another round of more widespread rain is expected to impact the evening commute from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
