The Harvey Nichols webstore has reopened following its temporary shutdown last month when Frasers Group acquired it out of administration.

And as well as its line-up of high-end mainly fashion and beauty brands, it also comes with the Frasers’ loyalty and payments programme, Frasers Plus. That includes the Frasers Plus ‘pay in 3’ option.
The webstore had been shut for less than a month following the 13 August acquisition of the retail business with just a holding page saying it was currently unavailable, even though the physical stores continued to trade.
The return to online sales is a major part of what Frasers has said won’t be an easy process to get the retailer back to full health with “tough choices” to be made. The webstore is key to putting the Harvey Nichols name and offer in front of those consumers who can’t get to one of its stores, not just in the Uk but around the world.
While physical stores remain the primary channel for luxury retailers, a thriving online offer is also crucial for any business that wants to compete effectively in the multibrand luxury space, something Harvey Nichols clearly hadn’t been doing indecent years as its losses mounted.
