Warning: Love Island Games Season 2 spoilers ahead. They were the fan favorite to win the quarter of a million dollars, but are Josh and Andrea still together from Love Island Games Season 2 after their controversial elimination right before the finale?
Josh Goldstein, a 28-year-old from Love Island USA Season 3, and Andrea Carmona, a 27-year-old from Love Island USA Season 6, were two original islanders on Love Island Games Season 2. They coupled up on Day 1 before splitting when Andrea was stolen by bombshell Charlie Georgiou from Love Island USA Season 7. They recoupled on Day 2 before Andrea was stolen again by bombshell Toby Aromolaran from Love Island UK Season 7 on Day 4. They recoupled for a final time on Day 8 and stayed together until their elimination in the semifinals on Day 14. “I genuinely had a great time in the Games. I met amazing friends. Obviously, I met someone really amazing, so I feel happy and I feel proud of myself and proud of him, and I think I can walk away from this saying I genuinely gave it my all and I walked away with a lot,” Andrea said in her exit interview with producers.

Josh added, “I didn’t know what I was going to get out of this experience, but I got more than I could ever imagine. It was a lot to come back. It brings back a lot of emotions being back in the villa. How it all started. But I think that my sister would be extremely proud that I came back here. And I think she would have loved [Andrea], honestly, as well. I have no regrets. I feel blessed.” Josh quit Love Island USA Season 3 with his partner, Shannon St. Claire, before the finals after the death of his sister, Lindsey Beth Goldstein, in the middle of filming.
Are Josh and Andrea still together from Love Island Games?

Given that Love Island USA airs new episodes around two to three days after they’re filmed, it’s likely that Andrea and Josh are still together at the time of writing. Compared to other couples from Love Island Games Season 2, who are from different states and even different countries, Josh and Andrea have the best chance of staying together given that they both live in Miami, Florida.
Distance is also the reason that most couples on reality TV dating shows, including Love Island USA, break up, so Josh and Andrea have it easier than most. After Love Island USA Season 5, runners-up Kassy Castillo and Leonardo Dionicio announced that they had split due to the distance between them. (Kassy is from Fort Worth, Texas, while Leo is from West Hartford, Connecticut.)
She continued, “Everything was real and genuine, that’s what makes it harder now. Breakups suck. All that I ask is for everyone to give us time because it’s so new. I care for him so much and I wish it didn’t go this way but I really do think this is for the best. I hope soon… who knows? I’m open to anything in the future but it’s just not aligning. He doesn’t deserve any harsh words or comments.”
While Kay Kay and Chris live in separate locations and could face the same fate as Leo and Kassy, it’s also possible for their relationship to work long distance, like Season 6’s runners-up, Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi. Leah is from Los Angeles, California, while Miguel is from London, United Kingdom.
In an interview with StyleCaster in February 2025, Leah explained that she and Miguel made their relationship work post-Love Island USA because Miguel almost immediately moved to Los Angeles to be closer to her. “It’s always been my dream to have a barn so I can take in foster animals,” Leah told StyleCaster about her and Miguel’s plans to build a house together. “Miguel gets to pick one animal. He wants a cow. I want fainting goats.”
At the time of writing, Josh and Andrea follow each other on Instagram, which could be a good sign of their relationship.
