Weather Conversation:
We are in for another cool start Wednesday with some areas north and west of D.C. in the upper 40s.
Despite the cool start to the day, Wednesday starts a summer-like warm up across the DMV. We are back at average for the midweek low 80s and then continue to build higher and higher in time for the weekend. Thursday will make it back into the upper 80s before 90s return Friday into the weekend. Despite the heat, humidity stays very low so it will still be quite comfortable.
Sunshine dominates the extended forecast until scattered showers and storms return for the second half of Sunday. Wet weather sticks around for part of Monday, though the day will be far from a washout. All of this sunshine is great for outdoor plans, but we do still very much need the rain. Drought conditions range from moderate to extreme across the region.
