Dubai Fashion Week unveils the programme for its upcoming season

Whilst its Saudi counterpart has just been postponed until 2027, Dubai Fashion Week is set to return to Dubai Design District from October 22 to 26, 2026. For its Spring/Summer 2027 season, it is planning a diverse programme that will bring together local talent and international names from across the fashion industry, despite the severe tensions currently affecting the region. 

Far from focusing solely on the local creative scene, Dubai Fashion Week will venture into new territories with designers and brands from Azerbaijan, Colombia, Jordan, South Korea, Vietnam, Puerto Rico, Kuwait, Egypt, India, France, and Ukraine. These guests will join designers based in the Emirates and across the wider region. Beyond the catwalk shows, the city itself will become an extension of Fashion Week, thanks to a programme of events designed to encourage cultural exchange, dialogue, and networking.

Reaffirming Dubai’s status on the international creative scene

“With each edition, Dubai Fashion Week continues to evolve, bringing together a broad range of creative perspectives and reinforcing its role as an international platform for exchange and collaboration,” said Khadija Al Bastaki, senior vice president of Dubai Design District (d3), in a statement. “The SS27 edition underscores Dubai’s position as a global creative hub and international fashion capital; it fosters meaningful connections within the sector and offers designers and talent from around the world opportunities to thrive,” she continued. 

“For Dubai Fashion Week SS27, we are proud to present a schedule that reflects the strength, diversity, and growing ambition of the regional fashion industry. It is complemented by an international line-up bringing fresh perspectives to Dubai, a dedicated and constantly evolving buyers’ programme, and exciting collaborations that add new dimensions to the event. Together, these elements demonstrate our ongoing ambition to consolidate Dubai’s position as a global fashion destination,” said Jacob Abrian, CEO and founder of the Arab Fashion Council.

A spotlight on the business dimension

Whilst Weinsanto will represent France, this Dubai Fashion Week will also bring together Yousef AlJasmi (Kuwait), KEL’ (Ukraine), Lili Blanc (United Arab Emirates), L’Scarlett (Vietnam), Pallavi Puri (India), GNL Couture (Azerbaijan), Adriana Capasso (Colombia), Mónica Schuster (Colombia), Shoma (Trinidad and Tobago), and Nafsika Skourti (Jordan). The event will also welcome the Picasso Institute Middle East (United Arab Emirates) and NIF Global x London School of Trends (India). 

The DFW organisers have confirmed the attendance of leading regional buyers, as well as representatives from major international department stores and online retail platforms. In this context, DFW has partnered with Harvey Nichols on an exclusive in-store pop-up, running from October 1 to 31, 2026, featuring a curated selection of emerging and established regional fashion brands.

Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), the global creative hub that forms part of TECOM Group, and the Arab Fashion Council, DFW enables designers to strengthen their presence on the Arabian Peninsula and build connections with an international audience, buyers and key industry players.
