College Football
The biggest story across the state is the approaching college football season.
The University of Michigan is preparing for its 2026 campaign with a new era beginning under head coach Kyle Whittingham. The Wolverines open the season at Michigan Stadium against Western Michigan on September 5, followed by home games against Oklahoma and UTEP before Big Ten competition begins.
