Weather conditions start to change overnight. Clouds come first, followed by showers and downpours from about midnight Saturday through midday Sunday. Temperatures will stay fairly comfortable overnight, but Sunday afternoon temperatures will only rise into the lower 60s here in DC, outside of town, neighborhoods may stay in the 50s. It will be breezy too, adding to the chill, northwesterly winds will be sustained from 10-15 mph, with gusts from 20-25 mph.
The cool down will take us into the first part of the week, with Monday feeling more like early March. Morning commute temperatures will be in the 40s, afternoon temperatures will range through the 50s. Northwest winds will still be quite breezy, at times it will feel 5-10 degrees cooler than it is. Frost possible in the early morning Tuesday, with temperatures ranging through the lower to mid 30s. 20s expected at higher elevations west. Tracking another day of showers Wednesday, and then back to warm sunny days.
